Miyuki pearls, originally from Japan, are available in Delica and rocailles. Delica pearls, with their tubular shape and perfect calibration, are ideal for precise weaving, while rocailles are more rounded and offer a less smooth finish. For regular weaving, opt for Delica.
Miyuki pearls are seed beads from Japan. Perfectly regular, they are much appreciated by beaders and bead-weavers alike. The best known are Miyuki Delica 11/0 beads, but there are many other shapes and sizes.
