925 silver is a metal that can be sawn, brazed, hammered, punched, filed and polished. In this video, you will discover the making of a silver and fine stone pendant from A to Z:

• First, the craftsman uses the cannetille technique to make mounting rings (00:00:08).
• Then, he anneals the rings to give them back all their mechanical properties to work them more easily (00:00:36).
• Then he moves on to shaping the metal using a cut stone as a template (00:00:50). With his pliers, he forms a closed setting perfectly adapted to the stone.
• The ring is then soldered to the base of the pendant (00:01:09) using silver soldering flakes. And the craftsman adds decorations to the base of the pendant with the same technique.
• Finally, he glues the gemstone in the closed setting (00:02:15). There you go, the pendant is finished!
