The giant circularknitting machine is a tool that allows you to knit hats, snoods, socks, scarves and even sweaters for the more experienced without using needles or conventional hooks. It all depends on the size of the circle you choose and the way you knit your yarn on it.
For example, for an adult size beanie, you will need a 29 cm diameter hoop. This may seem large to you, but in reality the knitting will get tighter as you continue. For a hat for a newborn, take a 19 cm diameter knitting circle and for a young child 24 cm diameter. The 14 cm diameter knitting set in the product list at the bottom of the page can be used to make wool socks or booties.
There are also knitted fabrics for snoods. You can for example use the adult hat knitting machine to make a single turn snood or take the rectangular knitting machine specially made for knitting snoods and scarves.
Knitting is much easier and faster to learn than knitting or crocheting. The pimples keep the knitting even, which is harder to do for a beginner knitter.
How to start knitting with a knitting machine? How to make a hat hem with a knitting machine?Follow the video tutorial to learn how to use a giant knitting machine.

To start a knit cap, make a slip knot and place it near the knit cap marker. You can use needle size 10 wool or needle size 5 or 6 wool and double it.
Wrap the next picot in two rounds, passing the yarn behind the picot first. Pass the yarn from below over the other and behind the pin. Do this all the way around the knitting. You now have one yarn tied on each pin.
Next knit/crochet the stitch you have chosen to make the hem of the beanie on the knitting machine. In the video, this is a reverse knit stitch. If you want a 4 cm hem, knit a 8 cm strip, as you will be folding it over. Once you have reached the length, take the loops from the very beginning and fold them over to the opposite picot so that you have two loops on each picot. Put the bottom one on top. You can continue knitting your hat with the same stitch or with the torso jersey stitch used in the example video.
To finish your circular knit beanie, cut your yarn to length and thread it through a wool needle. Thread the needle through the loops on the pins one by one and pull them out of the pins as you go. Then pull the yarn tight, the loops come together and form the top of the hat. Pass the yarn through more loops to tighten the cap and then tie a knot, pass the yarn through the inside of the cap and cut it.
