Creative interview with Emilie Lejeune alias Heart lemon

Adept for many years in creative hobbies, she excels in the field of pearls Miyuki, do you know who is behind Emilie Lejeune aka Heart Lemon?

This month we are pleased to offer you an exclusive interview with the creator Coeur Citron! Discover a little more about his addictions, his personality and his desires through some of our questions.

What you love above all

My kids, my labrador and the sugar.

What would you bring to a desert island so as not to be bored?

The complete collection of Harry Potter and Percy Jackson, or my children.

Do you have an addiction totally crazy and disproportionate but fully assumed?

I would say chocolate and clothes, but I'm not sure I'll take them.

The creature you are most proud of

There are several, but I particularly like the swallow designed for Laurie Maille, my cockatoos with the frangipani flower, my fox head.

Your favorite creative technique

At this moment the embroidery. And the brickstitch of course, because I take pleasure in drawing everything that goes through my head.

Your favorite Miyuki color panel

Overall all Duracoat finishes, and I also like: vermilion reference DB 191, white DB 202 (my secret boot), salmon DB 2114, mustard DB 2106, DB 220 that I use for all shades ...

The tool you can not live without

My computer.

Your secret little trick

Improvisation in every moment and on every occasion

Your favorite source of inspiration

The color (outside, at home, in my daughter's eyes, in the cake dough: everywhere).

Your favorite proverb or saying

Improvise, will you see? There is also make fun (this is not the preferred currency of my banker).

Your current projects

I'm finishing Martine Biessy's embroidered lobster. I'm also starting the gold embroidery (I was tempted and Karen from My Little Bazaar gave me the coup de grace), I would also like to mix brickstitch and glitter. And I'm preparing a competition to evolve in my profession.

A tip for beginners? The dumpling not to do?

Call on the community and do not isolate yourself. In creative hobbies, you will always find help and advice.

Pearls & Co and you ...

What attracted me in the first place is the organization of the site: it is clear and easy to use, the categories are well done, not to mention the wide choice. In addition, the team quickly trusted me, and gave me visibility, even when no one knew me.

Thank you to Coeur Citron for answering our questions.
