Make a knot with the cord.

In the world of DIY costume jewelry design, bow covers are essential elements to finish a necklace for example, while having nice finishes.
They will give an aesthetic and professional touch to all your creations.
On the other hand, a bow hider without rings will not be of any use if you use crushable beads.
The technique to hang a bow hanger on a wire is quite simple. Discover in our practical sheet the different steps to use a knot cover without rings.
To close a knot cover, the material needed is quite basic. All designers have a pair of flat nose pliers or a little jewelry glue in their toolbox.
For our example, we used Liberty Mitsi fabriccord . But of course you can choose any kind of thread like nylon thread, cotton thread, cord...
Weused a 50 mm round head nail, silver plated and aged. Then, we took a 14 mm old silver knot cover.
And of course, the essential material: a flat pliers with nylon tips (the nylon tips will not mark the knot cover) andsome jewelry glue, such as hasulith glue for example.

Make a knot with the cord.

Make a second knot on the one you just made.

Put a round head nail through these knots.

Pull the nail so that the loop is locked in the knot.

Interlace the nail around the cord.

Cut the cord flush with the knots.

Put glue on the inside of the knot cover.

Pass the nail through the hole in the knot cover.

Put a little glue on the knot.

Close the knot cover with a nylon-tipped pliers so as not to mark it (be careful not to flatten the knot cover).

With the end of the nail, form a single loop.

Here is the result!!!
You can now connect your assembly to a clasp for example.
