Toggle clasps are T-shapedjewelry clasps (hence their other name, T-clasp or T-clasp!). Very practical for easily closing bracelets with just one hand, they are composed of two parts: a bar and a hollowed-out element (a circle, a heart, a square, a star...). They are available in stainless steel, 3-micron gold plating, 925 Sterling Silver, gold plated or 24K fine gold plated, aged copper plated, 14K Gold Fillef, silver plated or aged silver plated, black nickel... But you can also make your own toggle clasp with Seed beads.
Here's a method for original toggle clasps. You'll see, it's very simple and will add a touch of originality to your bracelets (for example).
First, choose the "hole" element for the first part of the clasp. Here are a few suggestions:





Once you've found your element, create the toggle by following the steps in our tutorial. We've used Miyuki Seed beads 15/0 for our example, but there's nothing to stop you experimenting with other shapes and sizes of beads... It's up to you!
