How to create a cork lace bracelet with Amos glass beads?

It's the famous "bracelet des copines", named by the elegant French jewelry designer Puca®! It's very simple to make, and the result is magnificent. Very little material is required, just a few beads: Amos® Czech glass beads ,Seed beads 15/0, Bohemian facets 3 mm and double cork lace 5mm. A perfect gift for a girlfriend, mother, cousin or colleague... !

Before you start, here are the abbreviations used in the diagram:

  • R15: Seed beads 15/0
  • R11: Seed beads 11/0

Tutorial steps

Step 1
Les Copines bracelet with Amos® glass beads and double cork lace : Step 1

Thread 1 Amos bead, 1 R11, 1 3 mm facet, 1 R11, then repeat the sequence a second time.

Step 2

Close the pearl loop as shown below.

Thread 1 R15 into the 4 corners.

Step 4

The result is as follows. Place yourself in R15.

Step 5

Add 2 R15 and pass through the second hole of the Amos.

Step 6

Then position yourself in the facet (star point). Thread 7 R15s and pass through the facet opposite to encircle the lace.

Step 7

Repeat step 6 as below.

Stand at this point with the wire, then thread 2 R15s.

Step 9

Stitch your needle through the lace, leaving a 1 mm gap.

Step 10

Put on 2 R15s, then do the same on the other side.

This is what we get. Place yourself in R15.

At the ends, thread 1 R15, 1 R11 and 1 R15.

Finally, you can fence your wire, glue the end caps and fit a carabiner.
