Thread the beads onto your string: 1 gold bead, 8 white beads, 1 gold bead
Start your peyote stitch by threading a gold bead, then passing the thread back through the first white bead.
Continue weaving in the peyote stitch until you reach the end of the row.
Continue weaving in the peyote stitch to finish the first section! It should wrap halfway around your finger.
Be sure to orient your weaving correctly—that is, with a gold bead at the top and the white bead sticking out. Then weave a peyote stitch over 2 beads.
This new bead strip should be the same size as the first one.
Repeat the process at the bottom on the same side. Be sure to thread your new string so that it comes out through the second gold bead at the bottom. Continue weaving in the same way as you did for the top strip.
On the opposite side of the two gold strips, start the last strip, which will connect to the end of the first woven strip. (Same length as the base)
Count the 4 white beads in the middle; that’s where it will start.
All you have to do now is attach the thinnest white strip to the base of the ring and attach the two gold strips on top, crossing them over each other.
