Cut about 30 cm of elastic thread with scissors or wire cutters and stretch slightly to prevent it from relaxing too much later.
Open a ring with one or two flat pliers and slide in the beads, then the charm. Close the ring using your pliers.
Follow the same procedure for the four charms. Two of the charms are beads threaded onto a head nail. Simply form a loop with round-nose pliers and slide the loop through the bead-charm ring.
Start threading your beads onto the elastic thread in the same order as shown in the photo.
Make a surgeon's knot: wrap the wire twice around the other end, then tighten firmly. Double-wrap the wire around the other end again, and tighten securely.
Trim excess wire to about 2 mm from the knot. Apply a drop of glue if desired, then slide the knot into a bead to conceal it inside.
