Take a round-headed nail and thread in a round, faceted gold bead. Using wire cutters, cut the stem, leaving about 5 mm. Form a tight loop using round-tipped pliers.
Repeat for a total of 4 gold tassels.

Position the charms as you wish. Here, we've alternated a western charm, a round faceted bead and a pompom.
