Open the brad a little more by sliding the pliers between the prongs and spreading them apart.

Assemble a 4-leaf clover necklace in less than 5 minutes: Select a stainless steel choker, add pendant fasteners and choose the color of your hand-cut stone clover pendant. All you have to do is attach the pendant fastener, also known as a bélière, to the chosen stone pendant, then thread the whole onto the choker fitted with a pre-assembled clasp.
Gri-gri pendants are available in a range of colors. Some are made from real, cut natural stones, while others are "Hydro" creations. What does Hydro mean for a stone? It's a manufacturing process that consists of reproducing hard stones using a mixture of powder from the stone family and tinted glass. In this case, it's green, yellow and red clover. Nevertheless, they're no less pretty. Personally, I'm a fan of this Peridot color, as well as pink Chalcedony.
These colorful clover pendants go perfectly with an off-white sweater or blouse for a Casual Chic style. The Labradorite or moonstone clover will be perfect for summer on tanned skin and a Bohemian look.
Little tip: I only have a few chains in my jewelry box. When I want to change the pendants on my necklaces, all I have to do is remove them from the chain using the bélière, or open the ring on the pendant and attach a new one. So there's no need to multiply the number of necklaces in your jewelry box! I buy stainless steel or gold filled chains for long life.

Slide the clasp onto the pendant, then press with your fingers to close the clasp. You can place the pendant on a folded piece of fabric, so you can press down without scratching the pendant or the clasp.
All you have to do is slide the chain into the pendant fastener and you're done!
