Open the clasp. You can try opening it with your fingers, or by sliding the ends of a pair of pliers inside, then pulling the ends apart.
Slide the pendant into the stems, then close the clasp by pressing it against the table. Underneath, place a handkerchief or a folded piece of cloth to fold down the setting without scratching the table.
Simply open the torque and slide the pendant with its clasp over it. Don't be afraid to spread the torque to slip it onto your neck.
