Welcome to this new tutorial! Today I'm going to show you, step by step, how to make a necklace with a lobster clasp. The originality of this necklace lies in the diverted use of the clasp. We're going to use it as a support for our charms. For this example, I've chosen one charm, two pearls and created a fourth charm with three spinners and a nail. You're free to add as many as you like.
Our site offers a wide range of charms that will enable you to create unique jewelry: in stainless steel, 925 silver, gold filled (rolled gold)... But you can also use pearls, as shown here with the spinning tops or the ceramic flower bead.
For this necklace, I selected 4 mm Preciosa blue toupies and Miyuki 8/0 white and silver seed beads. The beads are strung randomly, giving free rein to your creativity!
At the bottom of this page, you'll find all the materials and products needed to reproduce this jewel in gold.

Prepare your equipment.

Slide the charm onto the nail.

Use loop-forming pliers to make a loop. Don't have pliers? You can also form the loop using flat and round-tipped pliers.

Repeat the above steps for each of your charms.

For this necklace, we're going to make two strands of pearls, which will go to the right and left of the lobster clasp and connect with a clasp in the back of your neck.
For the first, we'll put rings at each end. For the second, we'll put a ring on one end and a clasp on the other.
Cut a length of wire.
To close one end, place a wire protector and a ring inside the protector (you can also add it afterwards).

Run a crush bead over both strands, one of which should be only a few centimetres long.
Crush the bead as close as possible to the protection.

String beads randomly over 22cm. Adjust the length according to your preferences, the idea here is that the thread should represent a

Then repeat the previous steps to form the second strand of beads, this time with a clasp at one end.

Once you've finished your two strands of pearls, thread one end of each strand through the lobster clasp.

Pass the charm over a ring.

And close the ring on the clasp for each charm.
To finalize your jewel, you can cover each crush pearl with a crush pearl cover.
