How to make a simple necklace?

Still wondering how to accessorize your outfit for the festive season? Then this tutorial is for you! In fact, I'd go so far as to say that our entire Fleur de Cristal collection is made for you. If you want to shine for New Year's Eve, now's the time to make one or more pieces of jewelry from our DIY rhinestone jewelry collection. In this tutorial, you'll learn how to make a fancy rhinestone necklace with glass spacers and a small charm that adds charm to the jewelry.

Ideal for beginners, this gold rhinestone necklace is affordable on a small budget and quick to make. You can personalize it as you wish, by changing the color of the glass spacers for example, or by choosing a different charm. We have a wide choice on the site, so you're bound to find what you're looking for. And don't hesitate to adapt it by adding or removing dividers to suit your tastes.

If you reproduce this tutorial, don't hesitate to share your creation on social networks by tagging our Facebook page or Instagram account. We love to see what you come up with!

Tutorial steps

Step 1
Necklace with faceted glass spacers : Step 1

To begin with, connect the glass dividers one by one using small rings. If you're a beginner, we've put together a data sheet to teach you how to open and close the rings.

Step 2

Next, take your chain and cut a piece about 20 cm long. Add it to one end of the necklace with a ring.

Step 3
Necklace with faceted glass spacers : Step 3

Cut a second piece of chain and, as with the first, add it to the other end of the spacers using a ring. To add a little more detail, you can add a star charm. Here, I've placed it on the longer chain side, about 10 cm from the spacer.

Step 4

To close your bracelet, place two open rings at each end (wider than those used for spacers). Finish by adding the clasp of your choice.
