In this tutorial, we propose you to make a Do It Yourself necklace with small gold beads chain and a crystal cabochon from Aurora. With the approach of beautiful days, this necklace will be your best ally.
This jewelry tutorial is part of the April 2023 Fleur de Cristaljewelry collection placed on the theme of crystals. We offer several brands of crystals like PureCrystal and Aurora. For this necklace, I chose a round crystal A1088 8mm Aurora Capri Blue for its very attractive price which makes this necklace affordable for your wallet but also accessible to beginners. It does not require much technique in jewelry creation, simply know how to open and close a ring and use a cutter! Feel free to go to our "Learn " tab to get more information about jewelry making and other creative hobbies.
This necklace will be perfect worn this summer with a pretty dress or a flowing blouse with a low neckline. What's nice about this piece is that you can adjust it to any length you like depending on whether you prefer it to go lower or higher on your neck! We love this modernized "rosary" style that will enhance your bust. Little tip to dress it up, feel free topile itup with shorternecklaces of different types for a sophisticated look.
For this DIY, you can also have several variations by changing the gold chain to fine gold, the color of the Aurora crystal cabochon or the small gold charm at the end of the chain. The combinations are endless :)
We are waiting to see the result if you reproduce it, so don't hesitate to post it on instagram with #perlesandco or @perlesandco or on the Facebook group Super Club des Client(e)s Perles & Co. We love to see the result of your creations inspired by our jewelry tutorials.

Here are the materials needed to complete this tutorial.

Start by cutting the chain. We need 2 pieces of 23 cm and one piece of 5 cm.
Take the 2 longer pieces of chain and add an extension chain with an open ring and a clasp on the other piece.

Then place the cabochon in its crimp and use a pair of pliers with a nylon tip so as not to mark the crimp claw. Fold the 4 claws on the cabochon.

Then hang the two chains on top of the crimp with an open ring.

All you have to do is take the small piece of chain and add a charm to it with a ring, then connect the other end to the setting and you're done, you've finished your DIY necklace!
