Spring is just around the corner and it's time to get out your colorful jewelry! So we have chosen to complete our Vitamines B(ijoux) collection with new colorful and lively tutorials! Discover, in this tutorial, how to make a multi-row necklace by mixing materials: glass heishi beads and gold chain. Accessible to beginners, this necklace will be perfect to wear with a nice neckline or to accessorize your beach outfit this summer (be careful not to put it in contact with water). If you love hippie chic jewelry, the bohemian multirang necklace is a must have in your collection.
I chose to make the first strand of the necklace with green glass beads, a very trendy color right now! But you can choose any color you like for these heishi round beads. I chose this spacer because I thought it gave the jewelry a bohemian feel. But again, you are free to choose the spacer you want, we have a lot ofgold spacers on the site. And if you prefer, you can opt for the gold pendant version . In this case, you can skip step 6 of the tutorial. It's up to you to get inspired by this tutorial to create THE necklace that will look like you.
If you liked this tutorial, I invite you to look at the other tutorials of the Vitamines B(ijoux) collection, there will surely be more than one that will make you look at it !

Here are the materials you will need to make this tutorial:
- nylon turtle thread
- two chains (one with fine links and the other with larger links)
- tubes to crush
- a clasp
- round open rings
- an interlocking pendant

Start by cutting a length of turtle nylon thread. Pass your thread through a squeeze tube and form a loop by passing the thread back through the squeeze tube. Crush your tube with a pair of flat pliers.
If you are a beginner and this is the first time you are doing this technique, I invite you to consult our technical sheet on How to use crush beads?

Add a ring in this loop.
It is in this ring that we will add, later, the other rows of the necklace.

String all your heishi round beads on your thread. Here I used the full length, 40 cm. You can adjust this length according to the size of your neck.
To close the necklace, you can repeat steps 2 and 3. Your first row is finished.

Now we'll move on to the other two rows of the necklace. First, take your chain with the larger stitch and put a ring on one of the two ends. Add the ring from the first row and close the ring.
Do the same on the other side.
Take your chain with the thinner stitch, and repeat the same step as the previous chain.

Position your necklace and cut about 6cm of chain in the middle of it. This will determine the location of your spacer pendant.

Add two rings on each side of your interlocking pendant and hang them on the chain.

Take your clasp and open the ring on it. Put one of the rings from the end of your necklace through it and close it.
Your multi-ring necklace is finished.
