Cut a length of thread about 25 to 30 cm according to your wrist (or ankle) size. Ideally, you should leave an extra 10cm or so over your measurement to make the macramé slip knots.

Do you want to wear a common jewel with your darling ? I suggest you to make in this tutorial a couple bracelet to be together, even at a distance! Without them being identical, create a duo of bracelets couple matching each other. These bracelets are similar mainly because of the shape of the beads used and the proposed sequence, consisting of a central area of metal beads.
Thanks to the different gemstones available on our site: Labradorite, Aventurine, African Turquoise, Rose Quartz, Black Onyx... choose the stone of your choice and customize your creation for a personalized couple bracelet. This creation made by your own hands will not fail to please your other half and can be an excellent couple gift idea for a special occasion (anniversary, Christmas gift, Valentine's Day). Thanks to its macramé sliding knot, this couple's pearl bracelet will fit all wrist sizes. With this adaptable clasp system, you are sure to see right!
To get started, nothing could be easier! This tutorial is accessible to beginners in jewelry creation since no particular technique is necessary. These couple bracelets are made by simply stringing beads on wire and macramé flat knots that you will learn step by step during this tutorial. Learning the basics of macramé will allow you to experiment with other simple macramé jewelry creations.

Cut a length of thread about 25 to 30 cm according to your wrist (or ankle) size. Ideally, you should leave an extra 10cm or so over your measurement to make the macramé slip knots.

Place your thread on your work surface (or macramé tray) and secure it with an adhesive or T-pin for macramé tray. Cut a new length of yarn, about twice the size of your original yarn, and tie it onto your weft yarn. String your beads and make macramé flat knots to lock them individually. To discover the technique: Learn how to make a macramé overhand knot
Above is an illustration of the first step of the macramé knot. Pass one thread under the weft thread, the other thread over it. For the thread located under the weft thread, bring out its end inside the double formed by the thread passing underneath and vice versa: pass the end of the thread that passes over the weft thread in the loop formed by the thread that passes underneath. Then tighten the knot to secure the bead. To discover the technique: Learn how to make a macramé overhand knot

Repeat this step, reversing the positioning of the threads in relation to the weft thread. Go under the thread that went over in the previous step and conversely, go over the thread that went under. And tighten your threads. Your macramé overhand knot is finished.

Continue to string beads as you wish, interspersing silver beads. To make the central part (which is not bordered by the macramé thread), stop your thread after the last faceted cubic stones. Tie a new thread after stringing metal beads and resume stringing beads in symmetry.

Cut off the excess thread used to make the macramé knots. To do this, cut short with a scissor and burn with a precise heat source (lighter or thread burner).

Cross the ends of your bracelet so as to give a rounded shape to your jewel. Tie a new thread of about 15/20 cm and make about 6 macramé flat knots by repeating steps 2 and 3.

Cut and burn the ends of the wires. Thread a bead on each wire and make a small knot at the end of each wire to lock the bead.

You can create a variation of this tutorial to make a mixed bracelet or a couple bracelet. This second version does not require macramé flat knots but a simple stringing of beads.
