To complete this tutorial you will need to master the following techniques:
- Brick Stitch
- Oddpeyote weaving
The tutorial consists of three main steps:
The heart of the flower and the petals are woven separately using the Brick Stitch technique.
The first step is to weave the heart of the flower. With the brick stitch technique, the weaving is not particularly difficult. Except that you should not tuck in the threads, they will be used later to attach the petals.
Petals are also woven with the brick stitch technique.
Variations:
Be careful when you bring in your threads not to pass too much in the 3 beads of the base. It must be possible to pass a thread through them to attach the petal to the heart.
Now you have to assemble the petals to the heart. To do this, use the threads that were used to weave the heart and attach the petals one by one. With the needle, pass the thread through the base as shown in the diagram. Then pull the thread tightly and gently before moving on to the next petal.
Attach each of the 12 petals as shown in the diagram. Once the petals are all attached, place them as you wish: some behind, others in front. Little by little, the daisy takes shape.
To hide the barrette, a pearl support is woven with the peyote weaving technique. Of course, the band can be woven in brick stitch but with a peyote weave it will be faster and easier!

To begin, attach the pearl strip with jewellery glue. Let it set for a good thirty minutes before moving on to the flowers.
Glue one flower after the other, allowing time for the first flower to set before moving on to the next. Wait until the glue has dried completely before using the clip.
