How do you make a multi-row bracelet?

We have the ideal clasp to make multi-row bracelets. Do you know about Hiilos clasps? These are magnetic clasps in which you can slide your different sizes of bracelets that you have previously fixed on compatible tips. Then you can replace and rearrange the bracelets inside the clasp as often as you like.

In this video tutorial, we propose you a pastel multi-row bracelet model composed of 3 sets of bracelets. Among these 3 bracelets, a weaving of double peyote miyuki beads. Here is an opportunity to try this technique if it was not already done! The 2 other bracelets are composed of different chains, as well as imitation howlite beads, bohemian facets, gold letter beads and many other small elements to add to your bracelets to personalize them.

Dive directly into the products listed at the bottom of the page to compose your own bracelet. Hiilos clasps are available in 3 sizes: 11 mm, 22 mm and 45 mm. And also in gold, silver, gold-pink, black and flashy colours. You don't have to make a bracelet as large as in this tutorial. Choose your ideal clasp size and adapt the bracelet with your favourite products.

Tutorial steps

Step 1
Multiranks pastel bracelet Miyuki beads Miyuki clasp Hiilos : Step 1

Miyuki bead weaving in odd double peyote.

If you already know how to weave in Double Odd Peyote, then Double Odd Peyote will not give you any difficulties. Just imagine that the two beads you string is actually one bead and weave as if you were weaving in Odd Peyote keeping this in mind.

If you are a beginner and you still want to try this technique, here is a technical sheet to explain the principle of the Peyote Impair in addition to this video:

Once the weave is the size of your wrist + 0.5 cm, add 2 beads to the groups of 2 beads with the ladder stitch or ladder stitch technique. Prefer to finish with 4 groups of 2 beads on each side of the weave rather than 3. This step will allow you to slide the beads you have just added into the tip without your gondola bracelet. Remember to pass your thread through the corner bead before sliding the weave into the tip. Read the following before cutting your thread.

Step 2
Multiranks pastel bracelet Miyuki beads Miyuki clasp Hiilos : Step 2

Miyuki bead weaving in odd double peyote (continued).

You now have the choice between adding the small 15/0 miyuki seed beads on the side of the bracelet or leaving it as is. If you don't want to add them then wedge your thread in the weave and cut it. Pinch it again on the other side of the bracelet to add the stitch ladder beads on the end.

If you want to add them, then thread 3 seed beads and pass them through the delicas bead next to the one from which your thread comes out. Go back to the next one and thread 3 new beads and then go to the next one and continue to the end of the bracelet to add the other stitch ladder beads on the other side.

If you only have 10 cm of thread left, wedge it in the weave by passing diagonally through several beads 2 or 3 times and then cut it. Pick up one thread and wedge it in the same way before going back to the pearl where you stopped.

Slide the weave into two 20 mm tips.

Step 3

Leather lace bracelet and small chains.

Cut the leather lace to the right length and centre the pusher on it. With a scalpel, make a notch on each side of the lace 3 mm from the tip. Slightly open the slit in the tips with round pliers. Slide the shoelace into the tips at the slit. If this is too difficult, cut the lace a little more.

Cut 2 pieces of chain to the right length. Make a double knot on the last link of the chain with weaving thread. Thread a delicas bead 11/0 and return to the link. Thread the bead and the link again and make another double knot. Cut the thread and put some jewellery glue on the knot. Slide the bead into the tip. Repeat this step on each end of the chain.

Step 4
Multiranks pastel bracelet Miyuki beads Miyuki clasp Hiilos : Step 4

The bracelet with Howlite beads and gold letter beads.

Cut 2 x 25 cm of Linhasita macramé thread. Make a simple knot at the end of each piece. Thread your beads by following the sequence in the video or by threading them as you wish. Adjust your pattern according to the size of your bracelet. You can undo the simple knot to adjust the number of beads at the beginning.

Once you have the two strands of beads of the right length, make a double knot on each side of the beads by tying them to the beads. Melt the ends of the threads with a lighter and add a pinch of glue before sliding them into the ends.

For the chain, use the same method as for the previous bracelet. Make a double knot on the last link of the chain with weaving thread. Thread a 11/0 delicas bead and return to the link. Thread the bead and the link again and tie a double knot again. Cut the thread and put some jewellery glue on the knot. Slide the bead into the tip.
