What is jewellery stacking?
Stacking is the art of wearing several bracelets on the wrist or necklace around the neck and successfully combining them together to create a unique style. So you can be inspired by these 3 necklaces that can be worn individually or matched with other necklaces you own to personalize your outfit.
Cut 55 cm of wired wire. On one side, thread a bead to be crushed and a wired wire guard and then iron in the bead to be crushed. With a squeeze bead pliers, flatten while marking the center of the squeeze bead with the second notch of the pliers. Then turn the bead 90° and with the first notch of the pliers, fold the bead in half. Pull on the wire to check that the bead is correctly set. If it still moves, flatten it with flat pliers or start over with a new squeeze bead.
Thread the freshwater pearls and gold washers as shown in the photo. Adapt the length of the necklace to your neck and your taste. It is normally the shortest of the three necklaces. Finish by repeating step 1 on the other side of the necklace and add the carabiner with open rings. Open the rings by rotating the opening with two pliers. To close them again, rotate them in the opposite direction and make a small back and forth movement at the end to put the two ends side by side.
Pass the ends of the thread through the last beads on each side and cut off the excess.
Remove 5 cm of the chain length with a large good quality pair of wire cutters. Put jewelry glue in the tips and place the ends of the chain in the tips. Do not touch it again for 24 hours until the glue has completely dried. Then add the open rings and the clasp.
For the coarse mesh rectangular chain, simply add the carabiner clasp and the astro sign pendant in the centre of the chain.
