How to make a natural stone rod?

We decided to mix two essentials of the summer for this easy DIY jewelry. Heishi pearls and gemstones or natural stones. In this step by step, find two different models of rods. One elegant and sophisticated, and the other in pep's colors with a magnificent turquoise.

The advantage of this DIY two-turn bracelet is that there is no need for a clasp. We use memory wire. It is a metallic wire formed according to a certain diameter of a circle in the factory and which takes back this shape even if it is stretched. You can therefore put on the bracelets by turning them around your wrist. There are several diameters of memory wire, so check your wrist size and choose the one that suits you best. Here we use a memory wire bracelet of 60 mm in diameter which will correspond to a large majority of wrist from S to M. If your wrist is more than 15.5 cm you may need to take 65 or 70 mm.

The stones of these bracelets are Lapis Lazuli for the larger ones, Sodalite for the small dark blue pearls and lava stones tinted in white. The small pearls are alternated with 3 mm bohemian facets and the Lapis Lazuli are highlighted between two flower cups in gold-plated 925 silver.

1. Cut a little more than 2 turns of memory wire because you must keep the margin to make the loops that end the bracelet and make sure that the turns overlap a little. Attention cut the wire with a shears pliers otherwise you will damage your cutting pliers.
2. Form a loop on one end with good quality round pliers. This loop will prevent the beads from slipping. You can also decorate them with pompoms or charms.
3. Thread the beads one by one following one or the other pattern. For example for the turquoise model: thread 1 flower dish, 1 6 mm Lapis Lazuli pearls, 1 flower dish, 3 white heishi, 1 gold washer, 3 turquoise heishi, 1 gold washer, 3 white heishi and repeat this sequence 8 other times. To go to the next sequence, put on 5 facets of bohemian 3 mm. Then 3 Sodalite 4 mm, 1 facet of bohemian 3 mm and repeat this 9 times before finishing with 5 facets of bohemian.
4. Close the other end with a loop.
