Create your own resin buttons

How to make resin buttons?

Creating your own resin buttons with petal inclusions and green baby's breath is now a breeze. The silicone molds are very easy to use and this technique is to decline with all kinds of inclusions to have unique creations that will always surprise those around you.
Step 1
Prepare your items by removing the petals from the rose flowers and making your epoxy resin blend as indicated on your package. Always start by metering and pouring the hardener because the resin that is heavier will mix more easily. Wait for the bubbles to disappear if, however, some of them remain near a flame that will explode.

2nd step
Fill your mold halfway with the resin mixture. Place your petals and baby's breath that will rise slightly to the surface. Leave for 5 or 6 hours. The remaining resin should be immediately put in the freezer to preserve it without hardening.

Step 3
Make your second resin casting by thawing it for about thirty minutes. Fill your molds well but be careful not to cover the stems that will be used to obtain holes.

Step 4
Wait 24 hours before being able to unmold your buttons. Act with caution, do not touch too much below the buttons in case your fingerprints mark the resin you have to wait a few hours.
