Make a jewelry wall or key ring in polymer clay with a silk-screen. The patterns we obtain with clay and silk-screens are very fine and beautiful, but we often find it difficult to cut out a part of these patterns to make jewelry because we think it's a shame not to have the whole pattern. In this tutorial, your pattern will be highlighted on a painted wooden plate.
Step 1
Take a 56 g loaf of Fimo clay and run it through the dough machine at the widest setting. Prepare a mixture of blue and green acrylic paints, adding more green. Place your silkscreen on the clay, rolling it over the surface to remove any air between the stencil and the polymer. Apply your paint to the edge of a card, then spread it over the stencil in a very thin film. Immediately remove the stencil and clean it under running water. Leave your paint to dry for 5 minutes.

Step 2
Place your clay plate on a tile, so as not to change its shape after cutting it with your blade. Remove 1 cm from the top of the pattern, then follow the outline for the other sides. Bake at 120 degrees for 30 minutes.

Step 3
Mix your acrylics again, this time using more blue. Paint the entire surface of the wooden base.

Step 4
Glue your polymer plate to the wood.

Step 5
Take 5 x 2 cm nails, start by hammering the middle nail, then position the others every 2 cm.
