How do you customize your salad servers with polymer clay?
Today we're offering you a rather original tutorial!
You'll need to customize your salad servers with polymer clay featuring a cactus pattern. Your summer table will immediately have a more original, summery touch.
The colors of your mixed salads will be even more vibrant. The natural material of wood and the bright green of cactus combine perfectly.
So, who's going to win? Who will have the most beautiful table?
The steps:
Step 1: Take 4 bars of green clay, roll it out and cover the ends of your cutlery.

Step 2: Smooth the clay joints and cut the excess straight off the handle.

Step 3: Press the clay down with your texture plate, which has been rolled out on all sides.

Step 4: Make 4 green balls of unequal size, lengthen them a little to give them a more oval shape and texture them using the textured plate.

Step 5: Press toothpicks cut in 2 into each ball. Prick 2 toothpicks into the clay to give the cactus its final shape.

Step 6: Scrape green pastel powder over the entire clay with a brush.

Step 7 : Wipe off immediately with a damp cloth. Bake the clay for 30 min at 110°C. Fix the pastel with matte spray varnish, then leave to dry for a while.

Your salad cutlery is now finished and ready to use. Now you can enjoy colorful summer salads!
Please note that this cutlery is not dishwasher-safe. So be sure to wash them carefully by hand, avoiding splashing water on the cactus tips.
