Here is a new way to use your Wax fabric . In this tutorial you will find how to make crazy plastic earrings from an ink jet printer and Wax fabric. You can make jewelry with the fabric of your choice, the result is beautiful, the colors are intensified and the touch is very nice and silky.
Step 1
Place the fabric of your choice in the ink jet printer. Scan it and then print it on the crazy plastic your image by placing it in the back tray of your printer set on thick paper. Remember to make an impression on both sides of the sheet.

2nd step
your printed sheet is in A6-105mmx148mm format. With a single sheet you can make a pair of earrings with an oval shape of 3.5 cm long. A second sheet makes it possible to make other jewels.

Step 3
Draw 2 big rounds of 6.5 cm on your sheet and 2 others of 2.5 cm. You can help yourself with a cookie cutter or any other round object to make your contours. Place your rounds in the already hot oven at 150 degrees. Proceed by cooking one round after another so that they do not stick together. The size transformation is spectacular and so our rounds change shape and become oval. Directly put your hot room between two plates when it comes out of the oven so that it is as flat as possible. The cooking does not exceed 5 minutes. The big round is now an oval piece of 3.2 cm x 2.9 cm. The smaller ones now measure 1.2 cm x 2cm.

Step 4
Drill your pieces with a hand mandrel then run a ring to hang the pieces together.

Step 5
Glue your earrings to the smaller ovals. Wait 2 or 3 hours for this to dry.

Step 6
Color the white outlines of your earrings with a black permanent marker for a more finished look.
Your creations are finished, you can now appreciate the quality of the used paper which gives to your curls a fabric aspect and a silky touch. Feel free to show us your creations from this tutorial.
