Make beautiful earrings with fabric butterfly wings, you can choose between 3 colors. The fabric of these butterfly wings is organza, it is both strong and thin and lets pass light. This pair of already pierced wings can be used as is by passing a ring in its hole. You can also separate the pair for more transparency and as we will show you in this tutorial, reseal the wings.
Step 1
Prepare a mixture with 2 doses of resin for one dose of hardener, mix well, you can transfer your mixture into another container for more homogeneity. Wait 10 minutes for the resin to thicken a little and that there is as little bubbles as possible. Cut the pair of wings into two parts.

2nd step
Place your wings flat on the silicone mat. Pour some resin in the middle of the wings and then with a stick spread it over all the surface by pushing outward without overflowing. Overflow can be removed with a wipe. Do not touch the wings protect the resin from dust by placing a box on your creation for example. Let it dry and take the resin overnight.

Step 3
Flip your pair of wings to deposit resin as in the previous step. You can see that the resin deposited on each side makes your wing almost transparent.

Step 4
Wait again the next day to continue your creation. You must make sure that your outline is not sharp but rather smooth. Take a sandpaper to smooth your outline only, this step takes a few seconds and is done on a very light gesture. Pierce your curls with a hand mandrel, do not take a forest too small there must be a little play to not have an earring too stiff. Try to drill not too far from the edge while staying within a reasonable distance to avoid breaking the edge.

Step 5
For the assembly take two round head earrings, put in each of them a pearl of fresh water. Leave the pearl with one cm of stem and cut off the excess. With a round-nose pliers, form a loop bigger than the one on the other side because you will use it as a ring and hang up a wing. Open and close the first loop of the stem on the ring of the earring holder.

In this tutorial we use very little resin, we advise you to plan several projects to resine so as not to have any loss of material.
