How to Make a Tropical Long Necklace for This Summer?
Looking for a simple, fresh piece of jewelry with a tropical vibe for this summer? Follow our quick and easy DIY tutorial using pom-poms and a charm mounted on a wooden hexagon pendant and a mounting ring—it couldn’t be simpler! Wear it with a colorful crop top, and you’ll be totally on-trend! Don’t wait any longer—get started!
Step 1:
Attach the two pom-poms to the mounting ring. Use a 7 mm open ring for the green pom-pom. Then, attach the koi carp charm to the green pom-pom using a 3.30 mm ring. If you’re not comfortable opening jump rings, check out our how-to guide “How to Open a Jump Ring to Make Jewelry” in our toolbox.
Step 2:
Attach the mounting ring to the wooden hexagon pendant and the wooden pendant to the chain using two large 7 mm rings.
Step 3:
Attach the small oval open jump rings to the chain. Finally, attach the oval tag clasps and then the clasp to finish the chain.
And there you go! Your long necklace is finished! We love seeing your creations, so feel free to send them to us on our Facebook page or tag us on Instagram with #Perlesandco!
