How to make a necklace with resin beads?

Resin bead necklaces have become a trendy jewelry staple, and this tutorial shows you how to easily create a modern design with large, irregular cube beads. Warm hues such as Burgundy, amber or marbled beige blend with golden cubes for an elegant, luminous finish. This necklace is perfect for those just starting out in DIY jewelry creation: it can be made quickly, without complicated techniques, and offers a professional finish.

The resin beads add a contemporary marbled effect and eye-catching texture. Their irregular shape gives a natural, modern look, ideal for creating a necklace inspired by trends seen on Instagram, TikTok or in small boutiques. Combined with gold beads, they create a chic contrast that highlights the colors and adds relief to the jewelry.

One of the advantages of this necklace is that it can be fully customized. You can change the layout of the beads, change the colors, add more gold or adjust the length to suit your style. You can change everything to your liking by discovering our full range of resin beads.

This DIY project is ideal for completing a simple outfit, adding a trendy touch to your look, or giving a handmade gift to someone you love. With just a few beads, you'll have a super trendy necklace.

For this tutorial, you'll need 24 cube beads, i.e. 6 beads in each of the 4 colors.

Step 2
Irregular cubic resin beads necklace : Step 2

Start by cutting about 50 cm of wire. Thread one end of the wire through a wire protector. Then slip a Crimp bead into both wires and flatten it with flat-nose pliers.

Step 3

Add a Crimp beads cover and start stringing the beads in this order if you want the same necklace as we do.

Now let's finish our necklace. Thread a Crimp bead followed by a wire protector. Pass the wire back through the bead and flatten it with flat-nose pliers.

Step 6

Pass the small remaining piece of wire through one of the resin beads and cut the wire for a professional finish.

Step 7

Add a Crimp beads cover.

To close the necklace, take an open ring, open it and slide the clasp through it, then pass the ring through a wire guard and close the ring again. Do the same on the other side with the extension chain.

Here's how it should look. Your necklace is finished!

With the rest of the beads, you can make a bracelet to match your necklace on elastic thread :)

Bonjour,
