Detach the clasp from the necklace and lay the chain flat, checking that the links have not twisted. Fold the chain in 2 to locate the center of the necklace.
Using two pliers, open a ring and slide it, without closing it, into the love pendant. Place the ring in the central link and close the ring.
Position the other charms in the same way on either side of the love pendant, keeping a regular interval of 2 wide links between each charm (the next charm is positioned on the 3rd wide link).
Here's the suggested sequence, but feel free to position the charms as you wish.
