This step-by-step tutorial shows you how to make a matching jewelry duo: a bracelet and necklace with Miyuki 11/0 beads, in soft pink and gold tones. This beginner-friendly project will take you just 20 minutes to complete. Start by cutting about 45 centimetres of nylon thread. This measurement should be adjusted according to the size of your neck.
Slide a Crimp bead into the thread, followed by a cord protector, then pass the thread back through the Crimp bead.
Use Crimp beads pliers to crush the bead.
Slide a bead cover over the bead to be crushed and close it with flat-nose pliers, without pressing too hard.
Slide your beads halfway down your necklace, alternating pink and gold Miyuki beads.
When you reach the middle of your necklace, slide on the heart bead and string the Miyuki beads again.
To close your necklace, repeat steps 1 and 2. Then, using two pliers, open one ring and slide on the clasp. Add it to one end of the necklace and only one ring to the other.
Repeat the same steps to make the bracelet version. You'll need to cut about 20cm of nylon thread for this one.
