This tutorial is accessible to beginners, as it requires very little technique. With a cord, nylon thread, a few pieces of stainless steel chain and freshwater beads, you'll be able to create a piece of jewelry that's both elegant and original! And that's not all: this necklace can also be worn as a multi-turn bracelet. Simply wrap it several times around your wrist for a complete change of style. Pretty cool, isn't it?

The technique used is four-strand braiding, an easy-to-make variation on 3-strand braiding. Our partner chose a blue-tone cord and gold nylon thread for a bright, summery look. Of course, you're free to personalize the jewel to suit your tastes by changing the color of the braided cord and/or nylon thread, which we also offer in silver: you'll find a wide choice of colors on our site to create the jewel that suits you.
