Cut 50 cm of copper wire. Wrap the end of the wire around the end of the snap ring, passing the end of the wire through the last hole. Make several turns. Pass the longer end of the wire through the back of the ring into the next hole.
Pearly pearls are elegant, time-defying pearls. From genuine freshwater pearls to crystal pearls, they add a chic, feminine look to any outfit. Pearly pearl bracelets can be worn with a pretty satin or velvet dress for parties, or with jeans for a casual look. In this pearly jewelry tutorial, I'll show you how to make two elastic bracelets with Aurora 6 mm pearly beads and PureCrystal crystal beads. I'll also show you how to customize a gold-plated stainless steel band with small pearls. You can wear these three bracelets together or separately.
The main advantage of this tutorial is that the bracelets have no clasps. You'll be able to slip them onto your wrist quickly and easily. To create your own pearl bracelets without clasps, you'll need elastic thread and jewelry glue. You'll also need a kit of three basic jewelry pliers: a pair of cutting pliers, a pair of round-ended pliers and a pair of flat-ended pliers.
Please note, however, that while the wire and pearls are made of stainless steel, and therefore resistant to oxidation, elastic wire is a delicate material that needs to be handled with care. Elastic threads, without exception, are weakened by sea and pool water, the solvents found in perfumes and cosmetics, and cannot withstand UV rays and extreme heat. So avoid leaving your bracelet in a car in the middle of summer, or stored in front of a window. If you'd rather make a bracelet with a clasp, here's another similar tutorial with heavy-duty cable wire: Chic bracelet with orange faceted beads.
Pearly pearls elegantly evoke the era of Audrey Hepburn and the iconic style of the '50s. A symbol of grace and sophistication, they were also worn on short necklaces and discreet earrings worn with a little black dress, immortalized by the actress in the film Diamant sur Canapé. Timeless, pearly pearls remain a sure bet for recreating this vintage chic style.
Note that if your wrist is longer than 15 cm, you'll need two strands of 6 mm pearls to make both bracelets.
Cut 50 cm of copper wire. Wrap the end of the wire around the end of the snap ring, passing the end of the wire through the last hole. Make several turns. Pass the longer end of the wire through the back of the ring into the next hole.
Thread a 2 mm pearl bead, a 3 mm spinning top and a 2 mm pearl bead. Pass the thread through two holes, then out the front one hole further. Repeat this step as many times as necessary. At the end, rewind the thread as before, then trim off the excess.
Cut 30 cm of elastic thread and loosen it by pulling on it. This will prevent it from relaxing after you've finished the bracelet. String 13 pearly 6 mm beads.

To open a ring, you'll need two flat or round jewelry pliers. Click on the link to watch a video showing how to do it.
Hold the ring with one pair of pliers in each hand and rotate one pair towards you and the other in the opposite direction, without moving the ends apart. Hold the ring with one clamp in your hand. With your other hand, slide in your charm. To close it, realign the ends in the opposite direction, until they touch perfectly. You can go back and forth a little to make them fit perfectly.

Thread the charm, then 13 6 mm beads. Finish with a gold cube bead. Make a surgeon's knot. To do this, wrap the wire twice around the other end. Tighten.

Again, wrap the wire twice around the other end and tighten. Cut the wire ends to within 2 mm of the knot. Apply glue and slide the cube bead over the knot to glue the knot to the inside of the bead.
For the second elastic bracelet, cut another 30 cm of elastic thread and loosen it by pulling on it. Thread 12 pearly beads 6 mm, 1 crystal washer, 1 cube bead, 1 crystal washer, 12 beads 6 mm, 1 cube bead. Finally, repeat steps 5 and 6.
