Place your choker on the table and arrange your charms. Locate the center link of the necklace by folding it in half. On this link, you'll place the largest pendant, in this case the quilted heart. Separate the charms by one link.
Place the larger pendants and charms preferably towards the center of the necklace, but put smaller charms between the larger charms so they overlap less when worn.

Hold the ring with a pair of pliers in each hand and rotate one plier towards you and the other in the opposite direction, without pulling the ends apart.
Hold the ring with one clamp in your hand. With your other hand, slide one link of the chain into the ring, then your charm. To close the ring, realign the ends in the opposite direction, until they touch perfectly. You can go back and forth a little to make them fit perfectly.
