Discover in this tutorial how to make a necklace with round resin beads and Linhasita thread. This tutorial completes our new collection: Printemps Pétillant. Focusing on the bubble jewelry trend, we wanted to offer you five easy-to-make jewelry tutorials, with rounded, light shapes to enhance your spring outfits: earrings, bracelets or necklaces, there's something for everyone!
In this tutorial, I'll be making a resin bead necklace with Linhasita thread and a boué clasp. You won't need much material, and the great thing is that if you don't have any pliers handy, you can still make it! Simply string your beads one after the other, interspersed with Toho 8/0 seed beads, and add your hollowed-out flower. To close, simply tie the micro macramé thread onto the boué clasp.
For this collection, we wanted to keep to shades of blue and burgundy. But as with most of our tutorials, you can make the creation your own by changing a few parameters: color, pendant, bead diameter etc... For the necklace, I chose this pretty eggplant color, but we have a wide choice of resin bead colors on our site. If you change the color of the beads, remember also to choose a Linhasita thread to match the beads. And when it comes to spacers, we've recently released a number of beads that fit in perfectly with the bubble trend. You'll find a selection in the list of material variations. Be careful, however, to adapt the diameter of the resin beads to your choice of divider.
