How to make a bracelet with small beads?

Create small, fine bracelets in natural stones and gold-plated stainless steel to accompany your everyday outfits. In our catalog, we offer many small gemstone beads in different varieties. In this tutorial, we've used the smallest size of African turquoise beads. These are 2 mm natural stone beads, as well as 3 mm diameter beads. African turquoise is a jasper stone similar to turquoise. To enhance these beautiful stones, we've also added pearly beads and gold beads. Feel free to wear these fine, elegant bracelets as an accumulation. You'll find more ideas for stones to use in the variation section of the product list at the bottom of the page.

In this tutorial, we propose 3 bracelet models: a gold-plated stainless steel bead ring with pearls wrapped around it, a thin bracelet with the beads left over from the bead ring and a bracelet with 3 mm pearls to complete the whole. By adding a few more beads to your remaining 3 mm beads, you can make a necklace. If you like, you can add more pearly beads to your basket, and an extra clasp.

In the case of the gilded metal ring, we used stainless steel wire to add the pearl twist. Beware: gold fades rather quickly on gold-plated stainless steel wire. Avoid handling it too much. You can apply varnish to the wire after you've finished the bracelet. You can also use the transparent wire used for the other two bracelets to make a visible knot. You'll also need to apply strong glue in a few places under the beads and on the knots to hold everything in place. Remember to iron the thread through the beads to hide it.

Tutorial steps

Step 1

Cut about twice the circumference of the bangle to leave a sufficient margin.
To do this, place the end of the wire against the bangle at the gutter and wrap my wire around the
bangle. Take a pair of pliers to tighten the thread and wind it in this direction, tightening as much as possible.

Step 2

String the beads. Alternate stringing the beads a little at a time, winding the thread around the bead ring as you go, holding the beads tightly.

Wrap the end of the thread, holding the beads and winding it around the base, then back towards the beads.

Step 3

For the other two bracelets, cut 25 to 30 cm of 0.30 mm fishing line according to your wrist size.

Thread a crush pearl, the clasp, iron in the crush pearl and flatten it with the jewelry pliers. Add the pearl cover.

Step 4

Start threading your pearls. Thread the wire end through the pearl holes and, as with the beaded bracelet, alternate between gold, pearl and gemstone pearls.

Make a bracelet the length of your wrist plus 1.5 cm.

Step 5

Once the beads have been strung, add a squeeze bead, a closed ring and thread the wire through the squeeze bead. Tighten the thread, but not too much so as not to curl the bracelet.
Flatten the bead to be crushed. Add the pearl cover.

Using 3 mm pearls, you can add a small charm in the center.
