Looking for a silver ring that's both elegant and original? Make it yourself from A to Z in this new video! It's so satisfying to create your own jewelry.
In this video, Lucie shows youhow to make a silver ring set with natural Amazonite and Labradorite stones. If you prefer Amethyst, Lapis Lazuli, Moonstone or another stone, simply choose your favorite cabochons from our wide selection of gemstone cabochons.
This silver ring for women is composed of a beaded wire ring body and three glued settings, in which the fine stone cabochons are fixed with a little jewelry glue. In this tutorial, Lucie shows you how to solder bonded settings to the ring body, using two techniques:
- Solderwhile holding the tweezer in your hand.
- Solder with the help of athird hand. This tip is very practical, especially for positioning the ring correctly from the outset. But if you don't have a third hand, you can clamp the tweezers between two jeweler's stacks. That works too!
To make a ring yourself, it's imperative to have the right equipment in your workshop. At the bottom of the page you'll find everything you'll need to create this ring set with fine stones. With patience and perseverance, you'll be able to create a custom-made silver ring.
