How do you make a necklace with Puca® Super-KhéopS® beads?
Have you heard of Puca® Beads? These are glass beads created by the famous blogger and designer Puca. Khéops®, Arcos®, Minos®, and Ios®... Puca® beads connect together, fitting perfectly into one another. In this tutorial, we’ll introduce you to the new Puca® bead… the Super-Khéops! Unlike the classic, smooth, and flat Khéops® by Puca®, these have a 3D pyramid shape on one side, which adds volume and dimension to your DIY creations. They retain the same appealing 6 x 6 mm size and dual holes, which are highly valued in jewelry making because they allow for a variety of assembly options. It’s up to you to imagine combinations of shapes and colors for 100% personalized jewelry. If you love the elegant jewelry designed by Puca®, check out all our tutorials for inspiration and to create beautiful costume jewelry.
We’d love to see your creations (whether on their own or worn) and—who knows—maybe even share them on our social media. So send us your photos on Facebook or tag us on Instagram with #perlesandco!
Before you begin:
The following abbreviations are used in this tutorial:
Super-KhéopS® = SK
4 mm round beads = R4
15/0 seed beads = R15
11/0 seed beads = R11
8/0 seed beads = R8

Insert 1 IOS, 1 R4, and 1 SK, then reinsert the IOS.

Enter 1 Arcos, 3 R15, 1 R11, 3 R15, and then enter Arcos again.

Put 1 Ios in and pass it through the SK.

Place 1 R4 and 1 SK, then return to the IOS.

Place 1 Arcos, 3 R15s, 1 R11, and 3 R15s.

Keep going until you've placed 25 SKs.

Finish with 1 R4 in the IOS.

You can also make a necklace this way using only 50 SK.

Continue by placing 3 R15s, 1 Ios, 3 R15s, and then go back through the Ios as if to make a loop.

Position yourself as shown in the photo, then place 7 R15s above the R4.

Place the following under the SK: 1 R15, 1 R11, and 1 R15.

Put 5 R15s on the R4. Then, go to the SK.

Do this all the way along.

Finish by placing 3 R15s, 1 IOS, and 3 R15s.

Keep it up.

Make a chain of 20 IOS for a 45-centimeter-long necklace.

In the latest IOS, place 5 R15s on top.

Put in 2 R15s.

Place 5 R15s into the two center R15s to form a loop, then wrap it around 3 times to secure it.

Place 2 R15s.

Place two R11s between the three R15s on the outer side of the collar to create a curve.

Then move to the inside of the collar and place 2 R15s.
Repeat these steps for the other end of the collar.

Attach your rings and clasp. You're done!
