It's usually with the approach of summer that the colorful anklets we love so much come into bloom! Cut 3 strands of braided nylon wire approximately 45 cm long. Be careful not to use too large a diameter, as the three strands may need to fit into the hole of a single bead.
Tie a knot at one end, bringing the three strands together. Tape to your work surface and braid to a length of about 8-10 cm. Then tie another knot to secure the braid.

To do this, look at step 4. Pass two strands over the top and the single strand underneath. The strands will cross to secure the shell. Tie a knot.
Create a multicolored seed bead flower by inserting 3 beads on the edge strands and a single bead on the middle strand. Tie a knot by bringing the three strands together.
Continue stringing beads until you reach your ideal length. Finish by tying a knot after the last bead, and repeat step 1 to create a new braid to act as a link.
