How to make pearl bracelets ?

Here are 5 models of green and yellow heishi bracelets with a mix of heishi beads, gemstones and charms. These bracelets are made in part with the heishi Promenade kit. This is a kit containing 6 strands of round beads over 38 cm and elastic thread. Since you only need 16-18 cm of beads to make a bracelet, you can make a lot of elastic bracelets with this kit.

To make these beaded bracelets even more stylish, you can use gold washers, gemstones and charms. Below you will find some ideas. The Indian agate beads happen to match the colors of the kit perfectly. We chose them in irregular shapes, but they come in simple round beads.

The Topaz rounds are faceted glass round beads. Some other small gemstone charms add a touch of originality and delicacy. Want to use other charms? We have hundreds of different gold charms available.

These green heishi bracelets can be worn with a cream sweater or a camel colored suit jacket. A forest green blouse will also showcase your bracelets. Wear them for work or your daily activities.

Tutorial steps

Step 1

Before you start, we suggest you take our elastic bracelet training course by clicking on the link. Cut 30 cm of elastic thread. Pre-stretch the wire. Start by threading a double golden washer, then 2 Topaz washers, 1 double washer, 3 Agate beads, 1 double washer, 2 Topaz washers, 1 double washer. Complete with green heishi washers until you get a bracelet the size of your wrist + 2 cm. Make a double surgeon's knot as explained in our training link. Cut the wire ends at 2 mm from the knot. Put some glue and slide the knot into the golden round bead. Let it dry.

Step 2

Make the following string of beads and adjust the number of heishi mustard beads to make your bracelet larger or smaller. You need to add open rings on the charms to be able to string them. 7 heishi mustard, 1 charm, 7 heishi mustard, 1 double washer, 3 Topaz washers, 1 double washer.

Step 3

The bracelet is composed of 1 golden flower washer, 3 beige heishi, 1 golden flower washer, 7 dark green heishi, 1 double washer, 1 Agate bead, 1 double washer, 7 dark green heishi, 1 golden flower washer, 3 beige heishi, 1 golden flower washer then complete with light green heishi.

Step 4

Thread 1 gold flat washer, 5 beige heishi, 1 gold flower washer, 5 light green heishi, 1 gold flower washer, 5 beige heishi, 1 gold flat washer, 1 Topaz washer, 1 charm, 1 Topaz washer, 1 gold flat washer, 10 heishi mustard, 1 gold flat washere, 1 Topaz washer, 1 charm, 1 Topaz washer, 1 golden flat washer, 10 heishi mustard, 1 golden flat washer, 1 Topaz washer, 1 charm, 1 Topaz washer, 1 golden flat washere, 5 beige heishi, 1 golden flower puck, 5 light green heishi, 1 golden flower puck, 5 beige heishi, 1 golden flat puck. Complete with mustard heishi and place 1 large gold bead in the center.

Step 5

String 3 groups of Indian Agate beads separated by double washers. Measure the length to divide the beads into 3 pieces of the same length. There may be more or less beads on one part or the other.
