STEP 1
Start by fitting 30 stitches. (For more explanation, watch our video how to mount meshes ).
Then knit stockinette stitch (1 row of stitches and then a row of stitches, etc.) until you cover one side of the cushion cover in mint color.

2ND STEP
Change the color of wool. To do this, make a knot with the remaining mint strand, place it on the back of the book (non-visible face) (1).
Then knit in stocking stitch (2) (3) until the second side of the cover is covered as well.

STEP 3
How to fold the stitches?
For this, knit two stitches (1) - you have two stitches on the right needle.
Then, sew the first stitch with the left needle (2).
Pass this stitch over the second stitch of the right needle (3).
You only have one stitch on the right needle (4).
Knit another stitch and repeat the operation with these two new stitches on the right needle until the end of the row.

STEP 4
The stitches are now folded. It remains to assemble the sides of the work starting with the color change area at the fold.

We use for this purpose the invisible point (1) very useful for knitting. To do this, it is necessary to mark the stitches that form step fate when the stitches are removed from the jersey (2).
Pass the needle under this mesh on the mint side (3) and under the mesh opposite salmon side (4). Continue alternating side mint and salmon side to the bottom of the cover. Pulling on the thread as you go, you will see both parts move so that the seam becomes invisible.

STEP 5
Place the cushion in the zipped cover and it in your book, the zip at the bottom. You can sew some dots around the zip to better hide this part. And now, your cushion is ready.
