You will need about 10 feet of cord. Thread the button onto the cord and place it in the center. Tie a knot at the base of the button by tying the two ends of the cords together.

Create a phone link or bracelet with the wrap technique. This technique allows you to attach beads between two leather ties or laces. It is a technique, accessible to beginners, which allows you to use a large number of different beads.
This tutorial was made in partnership with the magazine Le Nouvel Atelier des Nanas in the Special Issue n°5 : Mes créations Zéro Gaspi. The goal was to offer you a jewelry project to reuse your leftover beads. Indeed, the wrap bracelet lends itself well, even more for a jewelry designer, because there is no need to have a precise quantity of the same type of beads to make it. Also, you will need a button for your clasp. You can of course buy it, we offer several in the list of products at the bottom of the page, but you can also get it from an old jacket that you no longer wear. This kind of bracelet or cell phone jewel, also allows you to finish your miyuki delicas bags, so don't hesitate to integrate it in your creation.
However, the outline of the bracelet will be very important for a successful aesthetic aspect. You can use leather or waxed cotton thread. Check that the chosen cord goes through the button before validating your basket!
You can wear your creation as a bracelet, or attach it to your phone as a phone strap thanks to our special attachments.

You will need about 10 feet of cord. Thread the button onto the cord and place it in the center. Tie a knot at the base of the button by tying the two ends of the cords together.

Cut 1.5 m of nylon thread and tie the thread to the cord at the base of the knot. Thread 1 seed bead.

Pass around the top cord and back into the bead. Wrap around the bottom bead.

String 2 seed beads. Wrap around the top bead and loop through both beads. Wrap around the bottom bead. Continue to attach 2 by 2 seed beads for about 2 cm.

Change beads and now attach faceted beads one by one using the same technique.

Here we have alternated 3 x 1 facet bohemian 4 mm, 1 x 3 seed beads, 1 x 1 African turquoise 4 mm, 1 x 3 seed beads. Repeat this sequence of beads until you get a full circle around your wrist.

Then make a second round with other pearls. Here, 3 x 1 freshwater pearl, 1 x 1 golden brass pearl 5 mm and in the center of the round, 3 x 1 large freshwater pearls.

Finish with seed beads as in step 4, then with a single seed bead.

Make a loop that the button can go through. Wrap this loop with the cord and then pass the cord inside the loop and tighten tightly. Trim the excess cord, put a little jewelry glue on the knot. Attach the carabiner from the phone strap to the loop to turn this bracelet into a piece of cell phone jewelry.
