Sometimes a few pieces of wire are enough to customize earrings. Here are 2 models of earrings to customize with the wire of your choice. In this jewelry tutorial, we stayed on black, white and gold tones. But if you are more colorful, feel free to do the same thing with flashy colors. For example, turquoise with red, orange with fuchsia pink or purple with emerald green. You will find different threads to create your earrings at the bottom of the page.

Feel free to combine the tutorials to buy less material while creating a maximum of jewelry! For example, the Linhasita waxed thread from the shell bracelet can also be used for the border of the Miyuki bracelet or even to decorate the earrings in this tutorial instead of the white thread. It will be just a little bit bigger. Get it in 0.75mm instead to make the 3 tutorials if you like them.

Cut a 50 cm piece of wire. Knot it and glue it to the earring holder. Wait a few minutes for the glue to set. Put a thin line of glue down the center of the wire. Wrap the wire around the oval holder, covering the wire end. Make tight turns between them so that you can hardly see the backing underneath.
To change the color, glue the old and the new thread ends directly to the backing. Wait a few minutes and then wrap the new yarn over both ends (the new yarn and the old yarn).
Here is an example of what you can do with the threads. Glue the remaining thread on the bottom so that it is less noticeable.
You can put a charm in the center with a round head nail. Open the ring of the nail, slide the charm through, then put the nail through the hole in the oval and bend it to the right. The charm should be in front. Cut 1 cm from the fold.
Form a loop with round pliers by catching the end of the nail with the end of the pliers. Then turn the pliers in the opposite direction of the fold. Before closing the loop, slip the ear stud into it.
Let's move on to the second pattern. Cut 50 cm of yarn and glue it as shown in the picture. Wait a few minutes before wrapping the yarn around the end of the yarn and the rest of the creole.
Here is what it looks like once the black wire is wrapped. Glue the wire end.
You can add a second thread to make a decoration. Here white thread, folded in half and tied with a double knot on the creole in the middle to have two pieces of thread of the same length.
Wrap the two pieces of yarn around the creole, crossing them and snaking between the gold balls, then cross them at the end and return to where you tied the knot, making the same path again. Tie a new knot. Cut the wire and glue it in place.
