Take your mold and make a small hole in the center of the top of your mold, preferably with a thick needle. Thread your wick through the slot of your needle and push it into the mold so that the wick comes out on both sides of the mold.

Turn your mold upside down and wrap your wick around a skewer or pencil. Try to keep the wick straight in the center of the mold so that when the wax is poured and dried, your wick will be in the heart of your candle. Tape it down for convenience, as shown in the image.

Melt your wax in a water bath. The time varies depending on the wax and the quantity of wax to melt. For a large bubble candle, we use about 150g of wax and for a small one about 50g. If you have excess melted wax, feel free to let it dry and re-melt it for a future project.

Once your wax is melted, it's time to add the dyes and scent of your choice. For this one, we chose a sky blue candle with a lavender scent, perfect for its anti-mosquito properties! Follow the instructions on the packaging of the dyes and scents to know the quantities to add in your wax.

All you have to do is pour your wax into your mold, all the way to the top. Now you have to be patient and wait for your bubble candle to cool and solidify. We advise you not to put it in the fridge or freezer, the candles crack and break once removed from the mold. Make sure your wick is still in the center before the wax congeals. For the big bubble candle, we advise you to let it dry for at least 4 to 6 hours, and for the small one, 2 to 3 hours are enough. Unmoulding is easy, gently peel off the 4 edges of your candle before turning your mold completely over to reveal your creation :) All you have to do is cut the wick flush under your candle.
