How to make a trendy rainbow ring?

You also want to make a super trendy ring and more easily? Then you've come to the right place! We promise you that this tutorial is made for beginners in jewelry making. Nothing could be simpler, the technique used here is just braiding andwrapping wire aroundPureCrystalspinning tops. Here we chose to make a version with rainbow beads, but it's up to you to choose the colors you prefer. That's the great thing about this tutorial, you can change it to suit your own preferences. The spinners used here are 4 mm in diameter but we offer several different sizes if you want to give your ring a different effect.

In this tutorial, the beads used are spinning tops but you can make this ring with all kinds of different beads. Like for example with round gemstone beads, or round faceted beads still from PureCrystal. In addition to being hot, this ring is economical because with the material of the tutorial which is already at a reasonable price, you will be able to make a lot! With the bag of spinners, you can make between 8 and 10 rings or about 1.50 € per ring !

This style of ring is very trendy at the moment and will certainly be so for the summer 2022;) It will be perfect to embellish your everyday outfit or to "spice up" your most beautiful evening outfit. We can't wait to see the result if you reproduce it, so don't hesitate to post it on instagram with #perlesandco or @perlesandco or on the Facebook group Super Club des Client(e)s Perles & Co. Tutorial steps

Step 1
DIY Ring braiding beginner PureCrystal rainbow spinners : Step 1

Using a pair of wire cutters, cut two pieces of wire about 20cm long each.

Step 2
DIY Ring braiding beginner PureCrystal rainbow spinners : Step 2

Fold your wire in half and form a loop in the center using a looping pliers or round pliers. Lay the loops of your two wires on top of each other and wrap one of the 4 pieces of wire over the other wires 3 or 4 times. Trim the excess wire and tuck the small piece into your setting so it doesn't prick your finger when you wear the ring.

Step 3

Choose the combination of tops you want to make, we have opted for a rainbow version, but you can also make a cameo or a gradient ... It takes about 10 tops for a size 54, 11 for a size 56, etc ...

Step 4
DIY Ring braiding beginner PureCrystal rainbow spinners : Step 4

Separate your 3 strands well and thread your first bead onto the middle strand.

Step 5
DIY Ring braiding beginner PureCrystal rainbow spinners : Step 5

Start making your braid by passing the right thread along the bead then under the center thread and the left thread under the right thread then over the center thread. The system is easier to understand by looking at the pictures :) Don't worry it's very simple it's like a braid that you make in your hair!

Step 6
DIY Ring braiding beginner PureCrystal rainbow spinners : Step 6

Keep doing this until you have braided all your tops!

Step 7
DIY Ring braiding beginner PureCrystal rainbow spinners : Step 7

Once you have braided all your tops, pass your remaining pieces of yarn through the loop on the other side to form the ring. Gently round it off. Then, isolate one of the three wires, it will be used later to make the finish. Fold the other two over themselves on the loop to form another flat loop. Tighten this loop on itself so that the assembly holds and then cut these two threads flush. Wrap your third remaining wire 2 or 3 times over the two remaining cut wire ends and cut this third wire to finish your ring. That's it :)
