You may be wondering how to twist a metal wire easily? There is a jewellery pliers ideal for this technique: the "Safetywire twister" also called a braking pliers.

This tool is quite simple to use, once you get the hang of it, you will want to twist all your metal wires :)

Note that the tool will probably be oiled, this is normal, it's to keep the mechanism active. You just have to wipe it with a cloth before using it.

It takes a bit of force to open and close the pliers. In this video, you will see the trick to lower the central part while holding the pliers firmly.

You must use 2 wires to make a twist but it is possible to twist 3 or 4 wires at the same time. The twist will be more imposing and the effect will be just as beautiful.

For the double ring, we used two brass wires and for the single ring 4 brass wires.
For the length of the wires, you have to measure your finger, add several centimeters because the fact of twisting makes lose wire, then double your length obtained.
