Cut a piece of wire about 37 cm long. Then stretch the thread to loosen it. Elastic threads always stretch a little at first. The trick is to force them to relax before you string the beads and make the knot. String 7 silicone beads and 7 wooden beads and test the bracelet on your wrist to see if it is enough. The bracelet should not be tight. If it is too tight, add more wooden beads.
Once the bracelet is the right size, make a surgeon's knot: Instead of making a classic simple knot where you pass the wire once around each other, pass it twice. Squeeze and then retie the knot 2 more times, squeezing hard each time and squeezing the wires from the inside of the bracelet as well.
