How to make an easy necklace?

Tutorial steps

Step 1
Trendy necklace with tinted agate gemstones, Miyuki beads and faceted aventurine briolette : Step 1

Cut about 40 cm of cabled wire. Of course, adapt this measurement according to your neck size, or where you want to wear this jewel: ankles, wrists, double neck...

Insert a pearl or a tube to be crushed on the wire, insert the wire in the ring of your clasp and pass again in the pearl. Crush with a pair of flat pliers. Place a pearl cover to crush with pliers with nylon tips or by placing a protection so as not to mark the metal. You can if you want more professional finishes insert between the pearl to crush and the clasp a wire protector.

Step 2

Start by inserting the Miyuki 8/0 seed beads. Here, it is a string of 35 beads, but you can adapt this length according to your desires.

Step 3

Continue stringing beads by inserting round heishi beads in tinted agate gemstones.

3 heishi beads - 1 Miyuki 8/0 seed bead - 5 heishi beads - 1 Miyuki 8/0 seed bead - 8 heishi beads

Step 4

Now string alternately 1 Miyuki seed bead 8/0 - 1 heishi gemstone bead dyed agate
Here, this stringing of beads has been done 12 times. String 10 round heishi beads in gold metal and then the Aventurine gemstone briolette.

You have completed the first side. You just have to repeat this sequence in the opposite direction to obtain the second side symmetrical to the first. You are free to modify the bead sequences proposed.

Step 5

Once you have strung the Miyuki 8/0 seed beads onto your wire, repeat step 1 to attach a closed ring and close your necklace. In the same way as at the beginning of the necklace you can add a wire guard if you wish.
An extension chain can also be added to the ring.

Bonjour Jennifer,
