How to weave a plant in Peyote?
Today it's Audrey aka Grey About who brings you her Anthurium Clarinervium weaving grid in Miyuki Delicas 11/0 beads.
Second winner of our "Weave your green plant" challenge, you can find her world on her Instagram page and on her blog "Nos petites idées" with lots of pretty tutorials to make: bead weaving, DIY récup, or jewelry.
And here's the tuto!
Audrey made the peyote weave in 2 weaves:
First weave: The cup (remember not to tidy up the threads at the end of the weave), starting with the longest row to avoid increases.
Second weave: The plant!

Audrey's tip: The weave was made with two different threads, the cup with a gold thread and the plant with a green thread - wow effect guaranteed!
Once you've made both weaves, join the 2 weaves with the gold thread from the cup.
To finish, bring out the mug's threads through the same bead and create the mug's handle using 2 needles passed through opposite sides of each bead (just like starting a brick stich weave).
