How to make a pearl bracelet?

Learn how to make a pearly bead bracelet with this step by step tutorial for beginners. It is much easier to make than it looks and will only take you 1 hour to do. The pearly beads used here are crystal beads from the brand Preciosa. You can also make this bracelet with 4mm PureCrystal pearls. You will need 3 bags of 30 pearls, i.e. 90 pearls, to create a bracelet for a wrist size of less than 16.5 cm. If your wrist is larger than 16.5 cm, buy an extra bag(4 bags) to make sure you have enough beads.

To give a little color, we added Miyuki delicas 11/0 beads from a mix: Tropical Sunset mix. Discover the other miyuki colors mix by clicking on the link. For a more classic bracelet, you can use 3mm crystal beads, small seed beads or 2.5mm gold round beads. Don't hesitate to have a look at the bottom of the page to discover other possibilities of products in the variation part.

The pearl jewels are great classics. These are also timeless jewels that will dress with class your party outfits. You can also use the same technique to make a choker. You need 52 beads to make 10 cm of weaving so measure the size of your neck and calculate the number of beads needed. For example, if your neck is 35 cm, make 35/10 = 3.5 and multiply 52 x 3.5 = 182 beads. That is 182 / 30 = 6.07 so you will need 7 bags of beads.

Tutorial steps

Step 1
Preciosa and Mix pearl bracelet Miyuki delicas : Step 1

Cut 2 meters of nylon thread. Place a size 10 needle on each end of the thread to facilitate the passage in the pearls.

Thread 3 pearly rounds 4 mm, place them in the center of the thread, then cross the threads in a 4th pearly round. Tighten the threads well, we obtain a 1st square. The two ends of the thread should be almost the same length.
