Cut a few links from the spiked chain and add a ring to each end. Close one ring on the loop part of the chain and slide the other on the open part.
For the ring, wrap the chain around your finger. Do not overtighten. Cut the necessary length of chain.
With an open ring, you join the two sides of the chain and add the charm at the same time. Then close the ring.
